Garden waste – Service Status

Please see the below update on the wycombe.gov.uk website

Garden waste

Service Status

Garden collections will resume from Monday 11 May on usual collection days.

Advice for residents

  • Please do not put any garden waste next to the bin. If your bin is very heavy, or the lid won’t close, please take some garden waste out and store for the next collection.
  • Your bin may be emptied at a different time than usual, so please put it out by 6:30am.
  • Please note that the service is not operating at full capacity.

Garden waste materials are not hazardous if left for longer than two weeks and can be home-composted. Please store the waste until the service resumes.

Home composting may be a possibility for some residents. If you have the space and would like to give home composting a try, there is advice and a discount on compost bins available to residents on the Get Composting website.
